Ok so what is up with this?!?!? I go run my errands around 2pm, thinking they needed to get done before I go start standing in line since I will be there all night. I grab a sandwich at Subway for dinner. It was nearly 3pm by the time I finished this so I headed for Barnes and Noble, ecstatic. But when I get to B&N there is no line there. None! My heart flipped, I parked my car, and quickly walked into the store to find a small table near the entrance with a small line in front of it. All of a sudden I hear the lady give the lady who she is serving her number "Number 234". WHAT?!?!!? THIS means they've been giving out number for a very long time!!!! Since the store OPENED this morning in fact! I had thought they would have started handing out numbers at 6pm when the sign that's been up in the store for a month said the festivities started!!! My heart was broken as they attached my reservation bracelet to my wrist and said "Number 236". NUMBER 236!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would have been FINE if I were in the hundreds but 236!?!?

What kind of a fan am I?! I should have called the store days ago to make sure I wasn't misinformed about how the whole process worked. STUPID am I.

So now here I am once again. The party doesn't even start at 6pm like they had said. It starts at 8:30. So I will be back a little before then. The one thing which made me happy while I was there was seeing the boxes piled behind the cash registers labled as those which held the HBP in them!!! *sighs*

But yet I'll probably get the book at least by 1am. I mean I suppose I can wait another hour since I've already waited so long. I WILL be hard though. 8 more hours till the boxes open, though!!!
